Visitors to the Aquarium can also experience an unforgettable moment by walking on top of sharks at the Shark Walk zone, made possible through its glass floor and special lighting which creates the illusion that these sharks are swimming below you. Also on display here are other species such as sand tiger sharks and blacktip reef sharks as well as stingrays, bowmouth guitarfish and round ribbon tail rays!

3. Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds wax museums are world-famous, and Bangkok’s Madame Tussauds provides an exclusive experience featuring figures of some of its famous residents as well as sports heroes. The museum is divided into multiple zones, featuring themes ranging from Hollywood stars and music legends to art-science figures and more. Michael Jackson and Ariana Grande both feature prominently among musical acts; Ariana Grande boasts an authentic wax statue that can inspire fans of her hit songs such as Bang Bang, thank u, next and Problem. 4. Jim Thompson House

The Jim Thompson House Museum is one of Bangkok’s premier tourist spots, featuring a stunning complex of old teak houses once belonging to American silk entrepreneur Jim Thompson and set alongside a canal with lush green trees and flowers for guests to view and learn about Thai silk history. It makes for an exquisite visit with so much history of Thai silk to discover!

Thompson was an impressive character who revolutionized Thailand’s silk industry, as well as being an avid collector of Southeast Asian art. To reflect this passion in his home – an eclectic collection of six old houses purchased and disassembled across Thailand; Thompson tried to retain as much original architecture and style when building these homes.

5. Ayutthaya

Many visitors consider Ayuthaya one of the premier destinations in Thailand and an essential stop for history buffs. Once serving as capital of Siamese Kingdom and now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At its height, this city was said to boast over one million inhabitants – its impressive ruins can only add further intrigue.

Travel from Bangkok to Ayuthaya by road takes approximately 6 hours; we suggest spending at least two days in this region so as to have time to explore its temple ruins as well as Bang Pa-In Palace nearby – both are musts!

If you prefer more independent travel and don’t wish to book tours, the easiest way to get around Ayuthaya without booking tours is via tuk tuks; these can usually be found outside attractions and will bring you directly to all of its main sights in the historical park.

Ayuthaya offers an abundance of restaurants and cafes, from street food stalls to sit-down eateries offering traditional Thai fare. In addition, there are various drink offerings including local alcoholic beverages.

Ayuthaya should be visited during the cooler times of day as its heat can quickly become oppressive. Comfortable footwear should also be worn when visiting temples; long pants/trousers and light shirt will do just fine.

6. Art in Paradise

Bangkok may boast many temples and shrines, but when it comes to something quirky and entertaining Art in Paradise is hard to beat. An interactive 3D art gallery along Sukhumvit Road allows visitors to get creative by creating photos that seem almost real; paintings on walls, floors and ceilings add depth for you to walk inside, under or over artworks ranging from underwater worlds, dinosaur safaris, ancient Egypt paintings as well as modern art pieces with themes including underwater worlds, dino safaris, modern art pieces as well as fantasy themes such as underwater worlds or modern art!

There’s plenty to see at the museum and it can easily take two hours or more just exploring each scene. Although some photos can be difficult to capture perfectly, there are signs displaying examples from previous visitors and arrows on the floor showing you where to stand for optimal effects.
